1. Data Controller

North Property AS (org. no. 931 725 564) is the data controller for personal data collected through resett.ai. Contact: post@resett.ai.

2. What Data Do We Collect?

Account information: Name, email address and profile picture from Google login.
Case information: Dispute description, uploaded documents, mediation messages.
Counterparty information: Name and email of the party you invite.
Payment information: Processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
Technical information: IP address, browser type and device info for troubleshooting.

3. Purpose of Processing

Providing the AI-assisted mediation service.
Sending invitations and notifications by email.
Processing payments.
Improving the service and troubleshooting.
Complying with legal requirements.

4. Legal Basis

Consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)): You consent by creating a case.
Contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)): Necessary to provide the service.
Legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)): Troubleshooting and service improvement.

5. Sharing of Data

We share data with:

The other mediation party: Your name and messages are shared with the other party.
Service providers: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI), Turso (database).

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

6. AI Processing

We use artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to assist with mediation, dispute classification, and agreement draft generation. Your messages, case descriptions, and uploaded documents may be sent to Anthropic servers in the United States for processing. Anthropic does not retain your data beyond what is necessary to process the request. AI-generated suggestions are not binding.

7. Retention and Deletion

Case data is stored while active and for up to 3 years after closure for documentation purposes. You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Rectification: Correct inaccurate information.
Erasure: Request that your data be deleted.
Data portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
Withdraw consent: You may withdraw your consent at any time.
Complaint: Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

9. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the EU/EEA:

Anthropic (Claude AI): Messages and case documents are processed on servers in the US.
Resend: Email notifications are sent via servers in the US.
Google Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics are processed in the US.
Vercel: Hosting and Blob storage for uploaded documents.

Transfers are based on EU Commission standard contractual clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards.

10. Cookies

We use necessary cookies for login and session management. Additionally, we use Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics. You can choose to accept or decline analytics cookies via the consent dialog shown on your first visit.

11. Security

We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication and access controls to protect your data. Payment data is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS certified.
